BODY N BALANCE is a fitness center based solely around YOU! We offer fitness classes and personal training. We don't have all of the big equipment that many seem to find intimidating. My fitness center is based on group personal training in a comfortable environment. We focus on keeping a friendly qualified staff that will motivate members & keep them coming back. Let us help you reach your fitness goals--- whatever they may be!

Various versions of EACH class exist...to keep things interesting & members challenged.

* Please bring a mat or large towel to all classes.  Additional equipment listed, if needed. We do have 5 lb. weights...but when you advance to 10lb. you will be required to bring your own.

Please note certain classes NOT recommended as 1st class.

 

MEMBERS CHOICE: 60 min (lisa)
You:
pick the body part…

I: pick the exercise & amount of reps…
All intertwined with quick cardio bursts & finished up with abs.
(10lb. weights required)

POWER YOGA: 60 min (jerilynn)
A vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga with abdominal work included.
(Yoga mat required)


KICK-FUSION: 80 min (noel/lisa)
50 minutes of cardio based box & buff, followed by 30 minutes of either abs, glutes or arms.  Class will state which area. (i.e. kick-AB fusion, kick-BUTT fusion, kick-ARM fusion) (weights required 5lb-10lb)

FLOOR & CORE: 50 min (lisa)
Foor & ball work to strengthen abs and core.

(Stability ball required)
Note: This class does require decent balance on the part of the individual.

STRICTLY KICK: 50 min (noel)
A shorter more condensed version of our BOX & BUFF class. None of the lunges, push ups or abdominal work here…just the fat blasting, heart pumping cardio kickboxing you've grown to love! * 25 minutes shorter than our BOX & BUFF class…if you are short on time ;)

CARDIO CIRCUIT DRILLS: 60 min (lisa)
2 minute basic military cardio drills with very little rest. Good class if you are trying to work on your endurance! All areas of abs worked in 2 minute intervals as well... not as easy as it sounds. Not recommended for 1st class.

HIC- IT: 60 min (lisa)
High Intensity Cardio Interval Training. About an hour of timed instructed high cardio/plyo mix. I've incorporated my experience with military training, sports training and fire academy training in this workout. 
(Must have an "OK" to take this class, for very advanced only)

CIRCUIT TRAINING: 80-90 min (lisa)
Training done in 2-3 minute intervals. Including kickboxing drills, cardio, weights, core stability, pushups & ab work all squeezed into a little over an hour!

GAMS, BUTTS & GUTS (lower body): 60 min (lisa)
Just as it sounds! This is a toning class that targets all leg muscles, the "rear view" and everyone's trouble spot--- abdominals! This one really works the lower body! (weights needed 5lb-10lb)  Not recommended for 1st class.

CARDIO STEP: 60 min (lisa p.)
An upbeat class full of energy--music to get your toes tapping and various routines to get that heart pumping! It is said that a 1 hour class burns over 600 calories!!  * weights will be recommended as you advance.

BOXING DRILLS: 60 min (rolando)
A smaller concentrated class focusing on boxing moves (bag) and one on one sparring---you against instructor. Abdominal work and pushups integrated throughout.
(gloves recommended)

TOTAL BODY BLAST: 60 min (lisa)
A head-to-toe high rep workout with light weights & little rest. This class won't pack on the bulky muscle but it sure will tone you up & build endurance! (need 5-10 lbs. weights) 
TOTAL BODY PLUS (90 min)
- extended class, with extra cardio and abs. Not recommended for 1st class.

BOX & BUFF: 65 min (noel)
Cardio kickboxing for the best of them! A High cardio workout that combines various kicking & punching movements followed up with concentrated ab work.

AWESOME ARMS & ABS: 60 min (lisa)
This class hits EVERY area of the arm! All three parts of shoulders, 3 parts of triceps, all parts of the bicep & forearm. Finished up with moves to tighten & tone that mid section!!

BUTTS & GUTS: 60 min (lisa)
This class covers every exercise you could imagine with very high reps to tone & tighten the butt & belly. (weights needed 5lb-10lb)
